Dear Friend,
Welcome to Newsletter 17.
In a few days I will get out my snowshoes and travel to the St. Louis Stamp Expo being held in St Louis, Mo from 21 to 23 March at the Renaissance Hotel. My booth number is 138.
There are more than several society conventions there- the Society of Australasian Specialist/Oceania, the British Caribbean Study Group, the Pitcairn Island Study Group, The Falkland Island Study Group, the St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan Philatelic Society, the Poster Stamp Society and the Great Britain Collectors Club among others. I will be bring some unseen material especially for these groups. I am excited to meet existing and new customers.
Of note this month, are Saint Lucia Revenues, another item of "where does this belong" , Western Australia destination mail and a Solomon Island stamp (the 65c value) that was withdrawn prior to issuance-somehow the stamp got into circulation. Evidently, the stamp was never destroyed.
We have also added interesting items to the "Studies and Articles" section at the bottom left column of this newsletter.
Please enjoy, critique, and comment as always, I enjoy it.
