Missent Mails in the South Pacific.

This is an interesting item of Postal History. Missent to Nadi Airport in Fiji and also to Apia, Samoa.

It has an Argentinian registration label but no postal markings….but it did do some travelling.

Departure tax stamp discussion

St. Kitts Nevis departure tax receipt is now incorporated into the airplane ticket (ships do not pay departure tax).

Anyone know when this practice stopped?

Postal Rates

Ever wonder when governments decide to increase postal rates? St. Vincent tripled theirs in March of this year. Belize hasn’t changed theirs in years.

Are you aware of any countries changing their rates in the near future?

Revenue Stamps

Revenue Stamps are still being issued.

There are airport departure tax stamps and even stamp duty stamps. Getting the modern ones are a real challenge, a challenge that I rise to.

Send me your thoughts.
